Introducing Field Job sub-tasks: check off your fields as you complete them

We’ve been working on a simpler way to complete Field Jobs across multiple fields. With this new update each field on a job acts as a sub-task and you can check off your fields as you complete them.

Now there’s no need to set up multiple jobs on fieldmargin when you are applying the same input and rates across multiple fields.

This has been a feature that has been requested by a lot of our users and we are pleased that we can now offer it. Try it out this harvest and let us know how you get on!

How to get started

  1. Set up a Field Job
  2. Attach as many fields as you need and tap save
  3. Open the job check off each field as the work is completed!

Completion date and time along with who marked it as complete it is saved per field. This is useful for compliance where there are lots of fields on a job meaning work has been done over several days. This information is essential for your spray records as weather could have been quite different across different days.

You can quickly see how many fields have been completed on a Field Job when you view your to-do list.  Work progress is available at a glance.

All field history and field input summaries are updated as you go. This is a premium feature only available with a paid subscription (prices start from £3.75/month).

You can still choose to complete all the fields on a job. Just tap the ‘Mark all as complete’ checkbox and any remaining fields will be marked as complete with the current date.
