We have released a new feature on our iOS and Android apps which we have received lots of requests for and that we hope will make mapping your farm quicker and easier. You can now draw areas and lines for features or notes by recording your location as you walk or drive around them
When you start creating a feature or adding a shape to a note that is a line or area you will see a ‘Draw by Walking/Driving’ button. Tap on this to begin recording your shape using your phone’s GPS.

Here are some ideas for how to use it:
- Map your fields by driving around their boundaries with a tractor or quadbike.
- Measure your hedges by walking or driving along them.
- When you note problem areas such as patches of weeds or flooding, walk around the area to record where it occurred.
